Our committee hosts a collaborative meeting with DEI organizations across campus to share connect and share resources. In the past, we have had representatives from Office of Diversity and Inclusion, College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), International Programs, MESA, 皇家华人 Black Educators, and VSU Campus Pride.

Diversity & Inclusion Comprehensive Planning Task Force

To assemble a Diversity and Inclusion Comprehensive Planning Task Force focused on a university planning effort aimed at real, tangible, and lasting change that promotes inclusion and social justice. This group of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members is committed to ensuring the 皇家华人 State University campus is a welcoming environment for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or identity, age, education, or disability. This group will closely examine what additions, improvements, or changes may be needed to accomplish this goal. Input from the campus community is critical to ensuring that real and lasting change is enacted. |

VSU Campus Pride is a committee of 皇家华人 State University (VSU) that works to create an accepting and inclusive campus for LGBTTQQIAAP (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, ally, pansexual) faculty, staff, and students. |
College Assistance Migrant Program

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at 皇家华人 State University is federally funded through the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Migrant Education for a 5-year grant period. The CAMP Program was established to assist migrant and seasonal farm workers, or their dependents, through their first year of college. |

ASL Club |
The ASL Club at 皇家华人 State University promotes awareness of American Sign Language and Deaf culture within the VSU and greater 皇家华人 community. Membership is open to any enrolled student with an interest in sign language. The ASL Club at VSU partners with the South Georgia Deaf Community on a variety of service and social activities throughout the academic year. |
